App launcher displayed from the side of the screen
Perhaps the great thing about Android that makes many users opt for its operating system over iOS is the range of options it offers for customizing the user experience. Its layout can be tailored to each user thanks to apps like application launchers. Among them, we find Sidebar Launcher.
A launcher on the Android sidebar
Once installed, this application is accessed from the device's sidebar, displayed just as if it were the top notification bar. Here we will take a look at its range of options for settings and features.
With this app, we will be able to adjust access to our most-used phone applications and functions in order to waste as little time as possible when accessing them. However, although the idea is good, it would be nice if it were a bit more stable because it freezes up quite easily.
These are the main features and functions to be found on this sidebar launcher:
- Set up quick-access apps sorted into sections.
- Quick access to functions like GPS, WiFi, alarm, clock...
- Configure virtual buttons.
- Adjust the size of the area taken up by the lateral scroll bar from the options menu.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 2.3.2.
