When we visit a museum, we can hardly identify any works of art, let alone their history, apart from the most famous paintings and sculptures... and sometimes we're not even capable of recognizing the most famous ones, to be honest. But we can now download Smartify which can help us to know about absolutely anything in the world of art.

This app offers us the chance to use our device's camera to scan paintings and immediately return results with the identification of the artwork and other information such as its author, age to which it belongs, an artistic analysis and links to additional information and sites of the likes of Wikipedia. Furthermore, it also has a huge database full of painters and their works, therefore, if you want to learn more about a certain artist, you can do so easily.

• Find nearby museums where you can use the app.

However, remember that the images may have copyrights and for such purpose, this app can only be used in the museums indicated by the application in the Explore tab.
