Road notification and incident map for drivers

SocialDrive Android is an app made by and for drivers that shows us a map with road notifications and incidents in our area. It is completely free to use, doesn't require registration, and anyone can chip in by sending their own notifications.

Receive notifications in real time about road incidents

After we download SocialDrive for free, we will be able to view notifications for the area or send four types of notifications: mobile radar, alert, checkpoint, and helicopter. They can be sent manually (by text) or by voice. Once sent, the team sorts the notification into one of the following categories:

• Mobile radar.
• Cameras at traffic lights.
• Fixed radar.
• Start of radar section.
• End of radar section.
• Alert.
• Bad weather.
• Animal in the road.
• Roadworks.
• Event or festival.
• Breakdowns or stationary vehicles.
• Accident.
• Traffic jam.
• Checkpoint.
• Helicopter.
• Drone.

When we press the icon for one of the alerts, we will see more details and will be able to leave comments. In addition, the SocialDrive APK app also features two types of map (default and satellite) and three views for notifications.

An aid between drivers to be able to be informed of what happens on the road.

In short, this is an alternative tool to Waze and other similar apps, although not nearly as complete. Meanwhile, the idea behind it is very good, but the interface coud be better.
