The kids' version of Spotify
Although we're not too keen on separating music for kids and music for adults. The truth is that there's music specifically aimed at children but preventing them from listening to music that's not appropriate for their age will only help them to grow in an alternative reality that has nothing to do with real life. Or did anyone stop you from listening to Black Sabbath?
Ethically questionable, aesthetically invincible
Having said that, Spotify wants to decide what's good and what's bad and that's why it has presented Spotify Kids: it's a Spotify app adapted to the youngest members of the household and that shows music content appropriate for their age. So forget about hard rock or metal, no stingy Latin music or hip hop... Just the purest music...
If you think your kids should grow up inside a bubble, download this app so Spotify can watch over them and keep them safe thanks to funds of Goldman Sachs so that they can feel offended due to almost anything when they get older.
However, we have to be fair and mention that not everything Spotify does is so criticizable: the design is quite cool. It's full of monsters and stuff like that, and that's always great. In fact, why doesn't the adult version of the app give us the chance to choose the same interface?
