The company behind this platform, Valve Corporation, has developed the Android app that recreates the functioning of one of the hardware devices that it sells: Steam Link. And with exactly the same name, it's now introducing a system for smartphones and tablets that allows us to play on these devices all the video games installed on our computer.
Compatible with mobile devices and also with Android Box for TVs.
In other words, we're talking about a system that streams the games to our mobile screen and offers us the possibility to control them from our smartphone. So, if until now we could only enjoy those games on our Samsung 4K Smart TV (or whatever other brands), we can also do so on Android... However, we'll have to fulfill certain requirements: we'll have to connect our phone via WiFi or Ethernet and have a gamepad that meets the specifications of the Mfi certification.
