The TV series Stranger Things raised passions with its wonderful horror story. Resorting to nostalgia, it made us look back to the past and remember how cool the 80s were. Now Netflix invites you to make a similar journey with video games, offering this retro adventure starring our beloved heroes.

Stranger Things: 1984 is a fantastic official RPG with 2D pixel art style graphics. The proposal is extremely wonderful, since the developers have been inspired by the classic games of the 80s and 90s (such as the Zelda saga) to create an extraordinary title.

The story takes players back to 1984 and is inspired by season two of the series. You will start the adventure joining Sheriff Hopper to explore the mysterious lab, but it won't take long to unlock the rest of the gang. The cool thing is that each one has a special ability, and you need to combine them to advance.

Of course, you will also visit other mythical places of the series, such as the Mirkwood forest or the Upside Down. The experience provies about ten hours of gameplay in which you can explore six dungeons and face 30 missions with the seven available characters.

Join Hopper and the gang on exciting quests through Hawkins and the Upside Down in this retro adventure full of collectibles.

In addition, it has two difficulty modes, a lot of collectibles (eggos and gnomes, basically), Easter eggs, references to the series, and many puzzles. And everything seems to indicate that they will continue updating the title when new seasons are released.

The game is completely free and there are no in-app purchases. In addition to downloading the APK file, you do need a Netflix, as you will be asked for your credentials before starting to play. If you like retro games, this one is really worth it.
