SEGA's classic beat'em up lands on Android
SEGA looks like it wants to succeed thanks to nostalgia and retro games. And although they no longer have the magic they used to have when played on arcade machines, we still fall for the seducing influence of these games that are no longer made. If when you were a kid, you used to spend your pocket money playing Streets of Rage Classic, we've got some good news for you: you can now play this beat'em on your Android for free.
One of the greatest SEGA classics.
The remake of the classic arcade game from 1991
Once you've got hold of the APK through the appropriate channels, you'll only need some free time to be able to enjoy such a legendary title on your Android device. How it works is very simple and easy, as it's based on touchscreen controls pinned to the bottom of the screen.
Frenetic, explosive, and totally addictive.
To start off, you'll be able to choose between a single-player or a two-player mode, being able to enable the multiplayer functions by means of a local WiFi. Then you'll have to choose your character, bearing in mind that each one of them has their own special powers, combos, and weaknesses:
- Adam: he's slow but very strong and can jump very high.
- Axel: he's strong and fast, but doesn't jump too high.
- Blaze: the girl of the group is fast and jumps high, but she's not so strong.
The game incorporates eight rounds that will take you around these streets full of rage and angry people. There's even a hidden ending... if you're capable of getting there and find it. And although you can play without paying, you can also get hold of extra lives and other advantages by simply wasting time watching sponsored adverts.
