The Sword Art Online saga was born as a series of Japanese light novels by Reki Kawahara, but soon led to various manga, anime and video game adaptations. This title from Bandai Namco Entertainment immerses us in the main story, starring the famous Kirito.
A familiar story
The adventure begins when a virtual reality game (Sword Art Online, or SAO) is launched which immerses players in a medieval world. But when they try to leave, they find that the option has been disabled and discover that death in the game means death in real life. The only way out is to get to level 100 of Aincrad and defeat the boss who guards it. In just two weeks more than 2,000 players have died and the rest have not even found level 1. But Kirito is not willing to die in this virtual world.

In this action JRPG you'll meet the characters of the SAO manganime, such as Kirito, Asuna, Eugeo and Leafa, with whom you'll experience all kinds of missions with new arguments. Most of them involve going into battle, one of the strengths of this game. The battles are fluid, dynamic and spectacular, and are peppered here and there with amazing special effects.
We'll control a team of three characters in each battle. To move them and execute different attacks we only have to slide our finger over the screen, following different combinations and movements. We also have buttons to execute combined and supporting attacks. It's a real marvel.

Throughout the game you'll be able to recruit a large number of heroes with unique skills and powers to level up, boost your stats, and upgrade your equipment and weapons.
