Point and click adventure set in a dystopian future
The guys from the House of Fire studio offer us an excellent graphic adventure in a classic style that takes place between the past and the present. Join Janitor Joe on this journey into a dystopian future where humanity has become extinct. Only our humble protagonist has the tools to avoid disaster.
Even the most insignificant person can change the course of the future
Our adventure in The Silent Age starts in 1972, in the era of free love, sideburns, big mustaches, and exaggerated bell-bottoms. Joe is the janitor of a cold government building where he does his job as well as he can. One day, he discovers a trail of fresh blood leading to a dying man. He gives him a time travel device and asks him with his last breath to change the destiny of humanity.
Driven by curiosity, fear, and dread, Joe tests the mysterious time machine and travels 40 years into the future. To his horror, he discovers that the human race is extinct. Our mission will be to accompany Joe as he jumps between the past and the present to try to stop the terrible events that will lead to destruction.
Travel in time from the iconic 1970s to a desolate present tormented by silence.
To do this, we must interact with the various elements of the screen, as is usually the case with point and click games. In this way, we will have to touch and collect items that will let us keep moving forward as we explore the various scenarios.
On the other hand, the technical side is one of the coolest aspects of this game. The graphics are simple and modern, using a minimalist style that fits in perfectly with this intriguing story. The music and sound effects are also incredible, fully immersing us into the experience. In fact, the developers recommend using headphones to enjoy the soundtrack even more.
