A tool to help you calibrate your Android screen
If you want to make sure that your Android's screen works perfectly and correctly adjust the configuration parameters, you have a useful tool like Touch Screen Test at your disposal.
Accurately calibrate the screen of your smartphone or tablet
This is a straightforward app with a very basic design that provides access to several tests that have to do with the colors that the screen can display and its touch capabilities. Thanks to them, you will know if you have a correct configuration and if the device is working properly. These are the main features it offers:
- The main menu is straightforward with quick access to all tests.
- Three tests related to color: purity, gradients, and shades.
- Two touch-related tests: simple and multi-touch.
- Double-tap on screen to interrupt tests.
- Information button with data on resolution, pixel density, aspect ratio, and current brightness.
The purpose of these tests is to help decide aspects such as the visual comfort mode to avoid fatigue, brightness level, and whether the touch sensitivity is the right one.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 6.0.
With a degree in History, and later, in Documentation, I have over a decade of experience testing and writing about apps: reviews, guides, articles, news, tricks, and more. They have been countless, especially on Android, an operating system...
