An interactive thriller with a top-notch cast
Twelve Minutes is a spectacular 3D adventure game that comes from Luis Antonio and Annapurna Interactive (the latter, known for its spectacular Stray for PlayStation 5). Join a man who is locked in a 12-minute time loop and needs to find a way out before he goes crazy.
Escape from the time loop
This title takes you on an incredible journey into the intricacies of the mind with stops in a family drama riddled with mysteries. There are three main characters and all three hide terrible secrets that you will discover gradually as you actively participate in the conversations.
As for the mechanics, they are basically the same as those of a point and click, with the difference that you have to act on the fly as events unfold and the hands of the clock keep moving. Therefore, you must explore, collect objects, and use resources in full action.
Technically, it is also a marvel. First of all, because it features the voices of James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Dafoe. And it also boasts a really overwhelming aerial perspective that puts you right into the oppressive atmosphere that this title tries to transmit. While the graphics are not particularly remarkable beyond the use of the color palette, the story is so good that its importance is relegated to the background.
Tap and drag to escape a time loop. This interactive thriller features the voices of James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Dafoe in its original version.
