Browse YouTube with an alternative client
Do you love watching YouTube videos but you're fed up with Google's dominant position? Although it's probably contradictory because the videos are still hosted on the giant's platform, you can use an unofficial alternative YouTube client as is the case of WebTube.
An alternative to the YouTube app for Android
It's an alternative application by means of which the user can find all the videos hosted on Google's platform, organized on a similar but simplified interface, with only three tabs:
- Home: which shows videos related to the last ones we've watched, in other words, other videos that we may be interested in.
- Trending: this tab shows us videos that have gone viral over the last few days and the most viewed videos in the world or in our country.
- Profile: if you've got an account on Google's video portal, this tab shows you all the videos you've ever uploaded and allows you to add your latest creations, read comments from your followers, and reply to them.
If you don't like the official YouTube app, you prefer a client with fewer options or you simply want to get away from Google, download and try out the APK of WebTube.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 4.0.3.
- The installation of the app by means of the APK file requires the activation of the "Unknown sources" option within Settings>Applications.
