Store documents, photos, and videos on the cloud
Online storage services have become a usual resorces for the majority of computer and smartphone users, mainly thanks to the improvement of high-speed Internet connections and the expansion of mobile devices. Thanks to services of the likes of Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud or OneDrive, we can save our files in a safe place although sometimes that goes against our privacy.
Yandex's cloud storage service
The Russian online service provider, Yandex, also has its own hosting service that allows us to save files on the cloud. It goest by the name of Yandex.Disk and we can use it on our computer just like we can also do so on mobile devices of the likes of Android and iPhone.
Although it has mainly been conceived for users to save their photos and videos, it also supports the storage of other kinds of files and comes along with the following functions which are quite usual in this kind of service:
- Save your files safely by creating backups on the cloud.
- Save online copies of your work and resume your projects wherever you go.
- Share files from your computer with other devices and users.
- Create collaborative folders to work with other users.
